In recognition of Dr. Gary Marsden\u2019s contributions and inspiration, SIGCHI established the\u00a0Gary Marsden Travel Awards<\/a>\u00a0(GMTA) to support its members in attending ACM SIGCHI conferences. Those eligible to apply are undergraduate and graduate students, early-career researchers (such as those who are \u2264 5 years post-graduation), and those experiencing financial hardship or lacking institutional support.\u00a0<\/p>\n For full details and to apply, please see our\u00a0call for applications<\/a>.<\/p>\n Deadlines are on the 9th of January, February, March, May, July, September, and November at 11:59 PM AoE. You must apply to a deadline that occurs more than one month before the start of the conference; the ideal deadline for IUI 2026 is 9th of November\u00a0 2025 or 9th of January 2026.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
