IUI 2027 will take place on 8\u201311 February 2027 at Helsinki Congress Paasitorni<\/strong> (www.paasitorni.fi\/en<\/a>), one of Helsinki\u2019s most distinguished conference venues, located right in the heart of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

About Paasitorni<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Paasitorni is a ruggedly beautiful granite building designed by the architect Karl Lindahl. The carefully restored building, complemented with newer wings, houses nearly 30 characterful and adaptable meeting and event spaces, five individual restaurants, and a 170-room hotel \u2014 all under the same roof. In 1999, Paasitorni became the first Finnish conference centre to receive an ISO 9001 quality certificate, and it has held an ISO 14001 environmental certificate since 2012, reflecting the venue\u2019s long-standing commitment to sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paasitorni is located in Siltasaari, right next to Hakaniemi and beside the El\u00e4intarhanlahti bay \u2014 close to nature, yet central. Helsinki is practically a walking city: it is compact and easy to navigate on foot, and the major sights and most conference hotels are within walking distance of the venue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Getting to the venue<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From Helsinki Airport<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The venue is about 18 km from Helsinki Airport. Take the I or P commuter train to the Central Railway Station (around 30 minutes), then continue by metro (two stops to Hakaniemi) or tram. Allow roughly 45\u201360 minutes door-to-door. A taxi from the airport takes about 25\u201335 minutes depending on traffic. See the Travel page for tickets and details.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the city centre<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Hakaniemi metro station is only a few minutes\u2019 walk from Paasitorni, one to two stops from the city centre stations. Several tram and bus lines also stop at Hakaniemi, and walking from the Central Railway Station takes about 20 minutes along the waterfront.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accessibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Paasitorni\u2019s premises are accessible for guests with reduced mobility, with the exception of a few small rooms in the historic building.
