The 23rd ACM Conference on Intelligent User Interfaces (IUI 2018) will be held from March 7 to 11, 2018 in Tokyo, Japan. Details of the program will be announced later.

Venue & Transportation

IUI 2018 will be held at Hitotsubashi Hall (National Center of Sciences Building) located in central Tokyo close to the Imperial Palace. Located in the central Tokyo, the hall has a very good access from three metro stations. From there, you can also walk to the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo and the Science and Technology Museum within ten minutes.

The banquet of IUI 2018 will take place on March 9th at Ryogoku Happyakuyacho Hananomai, Edo Tokyo Museum Branch. It is a unique izakaya (Japanese pub) decorated with Edo taste and Sumo sceneries. While eating, you can also enjoy Sumo wrestling exhibition played on the real sumo ring.

Since IUI-2018 will be held in central Tokyo, we do not include hotel reservations in the conference registration and let the participants make their own arrangements. Tokyo is really convenient for accommodation and transportation. You can find cheap rooms from major hotel reservation sites.

Also, you can find cheap rooms of Japanese business hotel from the web site of these hotels. The hotels in Japan are generally clean and safe, so even inns and 2-star business hotel will offer suitable accommodation for the conference participants.
