NOTICE
We are sorry to announce that the registration for IUI-2018 is closed, and the Late Registration and Onsite Registration will not open. We have had a tremendous number of participants registering for the conference and reached the capacity of the venue ("Hitotsubashi Hall") already at the Early Registration stage. We unfortunately cannot accept further participants due to the safety and security requirements of the venue. We thank you for your interest and sincerely apologize for not being able to accommodate more participants at IUI-2018.

IMPORTANT
Authors of accepted papers to the main conference including full papers, short papers, demos, posters, and student consortium papers) must register by Feb 07, 2018. Without any paid registration to the paper, the author's contribution will be removed from the proceedings and the technical program. One paid registration is enough when more than one paper are accepted with your name. Authors of workshops also must register by Feb 07, 2018.
Registrations will be done online through https://earlyregistration.peatix.com/ for early registration. Participants may pay instantly using their credit card (VISA/MASTERCARD/American Express). Peatix, a major ticket selling system is used for IUI-2018 registration. The registration is done by buying a ticket for attending IUI. The whole process is very easy to use, it is totally secure and can be completed in a few minutes. Participants who will participate in both IPSJ Interaction 2018 and ACM IUI 2018 can register by discount rate.

When you scroll down, you will see the following screen.
Please click [GET TICKET] to start the registration.
If the top part of the page is written in Japanese, please scroll down to the bottom of the page and change the language using the dropdown list marked in red in the following figure.

Choose ticket
Select a ticket type (registration type).
Please select the ticket type (registration type) and the number of tickets. Each participant must register individually. If you need additional reception or banquet tickets, please add their number. After finishing the selection, please select the payment method (type of credit card). Do not select “Combini / ATM”. Then, please click [Next: Login].

Login
Create account on Peatix.
Please create the Peatix account using “Register with your email.” If you have an account in Peatix, you can login using [Login with your Peatix Account]. You can also login using your Facebook, Twitter or Google+ account.

Fill in your registration information.
Please input your information. Do not forget to input your PaperID(s) if you are an author of an accepted contribution. If you are not an author, please input ‘N/A’ in the PaperID(s) field.
After inputting all the information, scroll down and click [Next: Billing Info].

Input your credit card information.
Please input your credit card information and click [NEXT: CONFIRMATION].

Confirm
Confirm your registration.
Please input your name in again, and nickname for Peatix account (you set the nickname at 3. Login). Then click [PAY NOW].

Finish
Check the finish page.

E-mail response
Check that you received the confirmation e-mail.
Credit card statement
The description of payment by Peatix in the credit card statement is the following.
- VISA, Mastercard: "ST*Peatix ticket"

Price
IUI-2018 offers all-inclusive 5-day registration that includes the shared day with IPSJ, main conference days, and the workshop day. Two social events and all the coffee breaks are also included. Note that the lunches are not included in the registration fee.

Notes:
All Registrations to the conference can participate not only the main conference but also workshops. All Registrations to the conference include: conference material, conference proceedings, daily coffee breaks, welcome reception and conference dinner. Students must provide a valid evidence of their student status (e.g. a scan of student card or a letter from the Head of Department/Director of Doctoral School prepared on the notepaper of the institution) by emailing kitayama [at] cc.kogakuin.ac.jp. Registration of both IPSJ Interaction and ACM IUI must show the name card of the IPSJ Interaction in the registration desk of ACM IUI.
